Betsy DeVos was confirmed by the Senate as education secretary by a razor-thin margin Tuesday, with Vice President Mike Pence casting an unprecedented vote to break a 50-50 tie on a Cabinet nomination.
But long story short, she basically has no experience with public schools even calling them a “dead end” and is a proponent of charter schools.
Her only relevant activity is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican Senators, whichmany are saying is the reason she was actually confirmed.
In other words, this should turn out well.
Twitter was quick to respond, as Twitter tends to do, using humor to mourn what they feel is the end of the education system.
