Fake Food Hatanaka

As a kid, your parents always told you not to play with your food, but they probably never said anything about wearing it.

Thanks to one food designer, Norihito Hatanaka, you can now spice up your wardrobe with some tasty accessories.

Because let’s face it, nothing lets you profess your love of bacon to the world like wearing it around your neck in the form of a sizzling statement piece.

While Hatanaka normally works in a factory that creates “industrial art food models” for restaurant displays, the artist found a creative way to combine expert faux food craftsmanship with a love of fashion by creating a variety of accessories that look absolutely delicious.

According to Hatanaka,

I get inspired for my work from casual daily scenery. Easily available common food items are charming as they are, though people sometimes don’t notice that.

While everyone may not understand the foodie’s fashion sense, there’s no denying that the accessories Hatanaka cooks up are pretty cool.

Not to mention, the creations are so realistic, they almost look good enough to eat.

Take a look at the photos below to see some of Hatanaka’s awesome accessories.
