We all have chores we hate doing but that we know just need to be done. When you live alone, it’s all up to you. But when you still live at home or with roommates, sometimes you hope that ignoring the problem means someone else will take care of it.
For example, nineteen-year-old student Alyssa Perez pictured here with her mom Patricia hates doing the dishes, and apparently her siblings do, too.

Her mom is always complaining that the dishes are never getting done.
Instead of getting annoyed even more, she got creative.
She removed all the dishes and cutlery and replaced their plates, cups, forks, knives, and spoons with disposable ones.
Now I get what she was going for, but at that point, why not go all in? Why not remove everything and simply not replace it?
At any rate, Perez said she was surprised to come home one day to see everything had been replaced.
I was surprised at first because my family isnt the wasteful type and I know washing the dishes would be much better for the environment, she said. I apologized to her and promised Id help more around the house. Shes just glad her point got across.
She tweeted it out, and people shared similar concerns about the environment.
But most saw it as a golden opportunity to never do dishes again.
