Teen Girl With Cystic Fibrosis Makes The Most Of Hospital Visits With Funny Video

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fC62Mo9ULM]

Claire Wineland has cystic fibrosis. At 17 years old, she has to spend a lot of time in the hospital, which undoubtedly would bring most people down in a major way.

Claire, however, is different. Instead of letting her illness and hospital stays put a damper on her attitude, she stays positive.

In her video, Perks Of Going To The Hospital, she details all the great things you can get out of a hospital stay, including 24/7 room service, unlimited snacks, cable, WiFi and the chance to wear sweatpants all day, every day.

Her perspective is so refreshing, and her ability to have a sense of humor is particularly admirable given her situation.

Commenters on the original YouTube post seem to agree, with many fellow hospital-ridden teens thanking her for creating the video.

Claire also has a Facebook page called The Clairity Project, on which she explains,

My goal is to break down the barriers that we tend to have with people who are living with an illness by discovering what you’re curious about and opening up my life to you.

She’s doing a fantastic job inspiring people with her positivity and fearlessness. I wish Claire the best of luck and all of the health in the world.
