A Rubens’ Tube is a long metal tube filled with gas with many holes in it which are lit on fire. It is basically a row of bunsen burners. Derek Muller of Veritasium discusses Ruben’s Tubes in this new viral video, and even checks out an epic Rubens’ Tube plane with 2,500 little flames. When connected to a computer and a music program, the results are spectacular!
