This Scientist And His Team Just Performed A World First On One Fishy Mother

After searching high and low for the right woman for the job — Emily, these researchers were ready to get to work.

At just over 12 feet long, Emily was more than two-thirds of the way through her pregnancy and had only a few months left before childbirth; the perfect candidate for the first seaside sonogram.
