OK Go Accuses Apple Of Ripping Off Their Music Video During iPhone 6 Reveal

Apple unveiled itsĀ new iPhone and watch at yesterday’s big event in Cupertino. The product launch began with a video entitled, “Perspective,” which had a number of optical illusions.

The video is a pretty clever visual expression of Apple’s core principles. Or so one would think.

The video bears an uncanny resemblance to OK Go’s music video for the song, “The Writing’s On the Wall.” The resemblance is so similar, in fact, that the band is currently contemplating whether or not to take legal action.

Apparently, OK Go was once set to collaborate with the tech giant on a video, but that never came to fruition. Apple then went andĀ hired the same production company as the band to make its video.
