We were already excited about the prospect of “Star Wars Land” (as we’re hoping that Disney’s Star Wars theme parks will be called), and now concept art has been released, giving us an idea of exactly what it is we’re looking forward to.
Two parks – one in Los Angeles and one in Florida – are being described as a “never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life”.
Sounds good to us.
OnABC’s ‘Disneyland 60′, Harrison Ford introduced the concept art, showingimages of what the park’s market places and eating establishments would look like, revealing that people will be able to choose between the “cantina” vibe we know so well, or somewhere a bit more upmarket:
It wasalso explained that the parks would have two main rides: one that will put you in the midst of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, and the other, in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
We don’t yet know when the parks will be opened, but they’re already under construction, so it hopefully won’t be too long.
