This railway engulfed in a tunnel of leaves is a Pinterest favorite and a Ukrainian hot spot for lovers. Although it’s undoubtedly romantic, there is an active train that travels through the tunnel three times a day to deliver wood to a factory. Just beware of the train before snapping engagement photos!
3. Cherry Blossom Avenue in Bonn, Germany

This surreal trail of cherry blossoms is located in Bonn Germany on Heerstraße street. The flowers bloom in the spring and the sight is an incredibly magical experience.

Known as “The Mall” in Central Park, this beautiful walkway is perfect for an afternoon stroll, any season of the year. It runs from 66th to 72nd street and leads to the Bethesda Terrace. Bring a blanket and a good book!
5. Dark Hedges, Ireland

A fantasy-like avenue of beech trees, the Dark Hedges was planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress visitors upon the entrance of their home. The road is known to be haunted by the Grey Lady, who appears at dusk. The HBO show Game of Thrones has also made a special appearance here.
6. Bamboo groves of Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan

Often referred to as the “Bamboo Forest,” this tree-lined path is popular for walks and bicycle rides on a nice day.
7. Oak Alley in Louisiana, United States

Located in Vacherie, Louisiana, Oak Alley hosts a row of large trees you just want to run through. The house is rumored to be haunted by spirits and was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters. Parts of Beyoncé’s video “Deja Vu” was also filmed here.
8. Avenue of the Baobabs, Madagascar

This alley of striking baobab trees lines the dirt road in the Menabe region of Madagascar and has become one of the most popular spots for tourists in the area.

Known as one of the most beautiful streets in the world, Rua Gonçalo de Carvalho is located in Porto Alegre of Brazil and is considered environmental heritage by the city. The striking green against the buildings is a prominent feature of the path, which looks like something out of a storybook.

This California cape is roughly 30 miles from San Francisco and is home to more than 1,500 species of plants and animals. Walking down this road at night seems like something you would see in a horror movie, but it’s beautiful nonetheless.
12. Nakameguro Canal, Japan

You can’t walk through this particular avenue of trees since it’s a canal, but the sight is incredible enough. Located in a small town in Tokyo, Nakameguro draws people from around the world to see the cherry blossoms in bloom during Sakura season.
13. Parque Francisco Alvarado, Costa Rica
