Huge crowds are currently lining up to visit Susan B. Anthonys grave on Election Day at Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York.
The suffragette leader died in 1906, 14 years before women were given the right to vote, and it’s become somewhat of a tradition for people to visit hergrave during elections toplace their ”I voted” stickers on her gravestone.
But this year, 110 years after her death, and with the possibility of the first female president being elected, Anthony’s gravestone is literally covered in stickers.
It’s still early, and judging by the lines of people, it’s not going to stop any time soon.
