Members of Congress Pose With ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star

Even members of U.S. Congress aren’t above posing for photos with celebrities.

Some of the men and women who represent American citizens in the federal government took time before U.S. President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address to pose with Willie Robertson, one of the stars of reality show Duck Dynasty.

The show became a controversial topic last month when Phil Robertson, Willie Robertson’s father, made inflammatory remarks that many deemed homophobic and racially insensitive.

Rep. Vance McAllister invited Robertson to the speech as a guest. While it was mostly members of the House of Representatives posing with Robertson, one prominent senator, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, did so, as well.
