There are now over 100 billionaires living in the UK.
1. The annual Sunday Times Rich List has revealed the number of billionaires living in the UK has passed 100 for the first time.

The list claims the 104 individuals have a combined wealth of over £301 billion, meaning the UK has more billionaires per head of population than any other country.
The capital London also has more billionaires than any other city with 72. Moscow lies in second place with 48.
Top of the UK rich list are Indian-born brothers Sri and Gopie Hinduja (above), who run the global conglomerate Hinduja Group, with a fortune of £11.9 billion, rising by £1.3 billlion from last year.
2. Russian business magnate and Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov dropped to second in the list after his fortune fell to £10.65 billion.

3. The highest placed Briton on the annual list is the Duke of Westminster, in 10th place, with an estimated fortune of £8.5 billion.

4. According to the Sunday Times, there were just 30 billionaires living in the UK ten years ago, with a combined wealth of £65 billion.

5. The entry point to be among the UK’s 50 wealthiest people has risen from £700 million a decade ago to £1.7 billion this year.
