“Charles Barkley” was a trending topic on Twitter earlier this evening after the former basketball star slammed presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney on TNT. As best as we can tell, Barkley made the statement while watching a clip of Romney during a Boston Celtics pre-game show.
Imagine the outcry from Media Matters et al. if a conservative sports commentator made similar comments about President Barack Obama on national television.
