This Adrian Peterson fan may have just answered the question on most football fans’ minds this past weekend: What’s a switch?
Peterson was deactivated by his team, following charges of allegedly abusing his son while spanking him.
One fan showed up to the Minnesota Vikings game against the New England Patriots carrying AP’s disciplinary tool of choice, presumably in support of the star running back.
A picture of the fan was first tweeted out by Minneapolis reporter, Kim Johnson:

The unidentified fan also became the subject of the New York Daily News’ front page Monday morning, with the paper showing a picture of her happily carrying the switch:

Peterson, of course, became the subject of controversy after turning himself in to Texas authorities, following charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child.
The running back subsequently posted $15,000 bail but was still ineligible to play in Sunday’s game.
