A Tennessee woman named Deshania Ferguson went into Rose Nails in Frayser and was greeted with a sign that has sparked up quite a discussion.
Long story short, she’s ticked, and when you see the sign you will probably see why.
The sign read, Sorry but if you are overweight, pedicures will be $45 due to service fees for pedicurists.

Since she posted it on , it’s been shared more than 500 times and caught the eye oflocal news station WREG, who went to the salononly to find the sign had already been taken down.
The owner of the nail salon, Son Nguyen, denied that the Facebook picture had been taken in his salon, even though the walls and floor allegedly matched.
“So this isnt your business? Even though the floors and chairs match? The sign was never in your business?” questioned reporter Shay Arthur.
“No there are same walls and floors everywhere, it could be anywhere,” explained Nguyen.
He said the only extra charge is $5 for men for a pedicure because they dont come to salon as often, which honestly, makes zero sense.
Nguyen said instead of putting a sign up hes decided to just not service someone if they are “severely overweight,” however that is determined. He said its difficult for technicians to give them pedicures and hes had broken chairs in the past which it hurts his bottom line.
He admits that customers have gotten upset with him over his policy, coming as a shock to no one, especially those on .
