Massage Therapist Sues Kevin Spacey For Making Sexual Advances
“American Beauty” actor Kevin Spacey has been sued by a massage therapist after he “became visually sexually aroused.”
According to the new lawsuit, Kevin Spacey booked a massage with a therapist, in which he then made sexual advances and even offered to pay extra money in exchange for sexual favors.
The male massage therapist claims that Spacey booked three different 90-minute massages at the New York Edition Hotel in August and September 2016. The documents state that Spacey made unwanted and inappropriate sexual advances while in the massage appointments, and asked the therapist for sexual favors, which included him wanting the massage to focus on the buttocks.
The therapist also accuses the “House of Cards” actor of doing yoga poses during the massage, which led to Spacey exposing his genitals, which made the therapist very uncomfortable.
Specifically, “Spacey repeatedly became sexually aroused during the sessions and even offered extra money in exchange for sexual favors,” the suit states. Adding, he also accuses the 64-year-old actor of “repeatedly making sexual comments on his looks and physique.”
Spacey was also accused of grabbing the massage therapist’s hand and attempting to place it on his genitals, even though the therapist said he repeatedly told Spacey “no.”
Kevin Spacey Allegedly Booked Massage Appointment Under A Fake Name
Kevin Spacey reportedly booked these appointments under a fake name, meaning that the therapist did not know he was going to see the actor until he was already in the hotel room.
The massage therapist also claims that Spacey “insisted upon wearing a ski mask” during the appointments.
He is now suing Kevin Spacey after he claims the massage sessions resulted in mental and emotional distress, even suffering from anxiety, depression, and PTSD to this day. He also says he fears “for his livelihood as a massage therapist, husband, and father”.
The “Baby Driver” actor was accused of forcing a different male massage therapist to touch his genitals during an in-home massage in 2016. Spacey denied that accusation and the case was dropped.
Kevin Spacey Found Not Guilty On Seven Counts Of Sexual Assault
The new lawsuit comes just a couple of months after Kevin Spacey was found not guilty on sexual assault charges in the United Kingdom.
As The Blast previously reported, Kevin Spacey was facing nine charges from four different accusers, including sexual assault that were alleged to have been committed between 2001 and 2013.
After debating for 12 hours and 26 minutes, the jury acquitted Spacey of all seven counts of sexual assault. He was also found not guilty on one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The final charge was of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
As the jury announced the not-guilty verdict, Spacey started crying before hugging his manager and legal team. Due to the accusations, most of Spacey’s ongoing shows and roles were canceled.
