Frank Ocean Fans Can’t Handle The Suspense Any Longer

There are teases and then there’s Frank Ocean.

It was four years ago that he released ‘Channel Orange’ and we’re still waiting for a follow up. It wouldn’t be so bad if he never kept getting everyone all hyped up, only to go and let us down. Continuously.

Earlier this year his website published a library card similar to the one below. It had a bunch of dates crossed out and then two that were yet to pass. July 2016 and November 2016.

When July passed, everyone figured that they wouldbe waiting until November to hear the album ‘Boys Don’t Cry.’ Then, out of nowhere Frankput a live stream on his site which showed no new music, but it did show him chopping wood, whatever that means. He’s just a wind up merchant, pure and simple.

But today should be the day, it was announced that Boys Don’t Cry will be available exclusively on Apple Music on August 5th. It’s August 5th, and still no album. Frank Ocean’s fans can’t take the suspense any longer.

Snapchat have even released special filters for the occasion, surely that’s confirmation that at some point today it will drop? Let’s hope so, but the library card did say November…

In the meantime, at least we have this.
