25. City Hall Station – New York City, New York

It was opened in 1904 and closed in 1945 as barely anyone ever used it.

24. Sanzhi UFO Houses – San Zhi, Taiwan

Built for US military officers in the 70s, construction stopped in the 80s when funds dried up.

23. Disney’s Discovery Island – Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Formerly a Disney wildlife attraction, rumor has it that it was closed down when deadly bacteria was found in the surrounding water.

A testament to North Korea’s insanity, construction began during a famine. Not surprisingly the building was never finished although they did eventually manage to coat it with glass to make it look more presentable.
